Half way through the 80’s, rallying was broadcasted more regularly than nowadays. I loved watching rallying and when they introduced the Delta S4 and after that the Delta 4 WD I really got very enthusiastic about the Lancia Delta. A small 5 doors car, permanent 4 wheel drive, 2 litre engines with turbo, starting with 170 Pk and nice looking as well.

It now was produced at a much lager scale and I hoped that I would own one in future years.

After a while I was able to buy my first 8 year old Integrale 8V and very much enjoyed driving it. I had it for over 6 years . Because of circumstances i sold it, but my wish to own one again remained..

A few years ago I was able to buy an Evo 1 in the colour Rosso, I was in the 7 Th heaven. By a miracle the possibility of trading it in for a Blue Evo 2 came by, and it was like a dream come true. Beautiful blue color and light tanned leather seats. What a beautiful color composition.

Wanting to know more about the specifications and the different models and types, I found it hard to get the proper information at first and I realised that probably more enthusiastics like me were facing the same problem.

The idea was formed to build a Website, containing all the information about the Lancia Delta up to the Evo 2 and the Hyena, with brochures, press releases, pictures, technical information, addresses of people to go to for information, parts and more.

I started collecting and found several websites, including Ebay, and they were ideal for looking up and getting information, sometimes a bit pricey, but it was all for the greater good and once started I had to finish it.

This site is still under construction, and I hope that step by step it will become a Delta database which is useful for every one.

I like to express my thanks to Dave Jansen from Woerden who is teaching and helping me with this website. I also got info from other enthusiastics and like to express my thanks to them as well.

I hope you enjoy this site and that it will help you find the information you are looking for. Tips and new information is very welcome.

Have a nice day!
